Day to day activities

 Yesterday was a typical day for me somewhat I could not remember it was two weeks yet for my haircut appointment, so I did not end up getting my haircut as I usually do in the morning like I usually do. However, I spent it in because it is the weekend, and I do not have to wake up early for work. I brushed my teeth around 8:30am then I went to my favorite coffee shop around 9:40am and got a cold brew to get my day started and feel energized. I also made an extra stop to the bagel shop to get a couple breakfast sandwiches. 

These are my usual tasks that help me get my days somewhat started on the weekends because usually it is a struggle to get started as early, I wanted to because of some of my longer weeks at work. For example, four out of the five days I worked this week from 4:30/5:30 till 7:30pm at night. On the weekends I try to make time for everything when I can so most things get split in half and half would be school reading and the rest would be cleaning my apartment since I usually do not have the time to deep clean during the week since I am usually busy. But here is a breakdown of my day.  

 

Here are 10 tasks I completed during the day: 

1.) Woke up and got ready for the day 

2.) Ate a healthy breakfast 

3.) Checked emails and schedule 

4.) Wrote a to-do list 

5.) Completed a school readings/material 

6.) Submitted the assignment online 

7.) Took a walk for fresh air 

8.) Attended a virtual meeting 

9.) ordered and ate dinner 

10.) Watched a show and played video games 

By the end of the day, I felt like I had accomplished a lot. Although every task wasn’t exciting, putting effort into managing my time well helped me feel productive and balanced. This also allows me to be able enjoy my hobbies somewhat such as maintaining my car and playing video games with friends, which keeps me balanced. Writing this journal entry reminds me how much I do, even on the most "normal" days.
